Wounded 31 May 62 on the left side of his head from a gunshot at Fair Oaks, VA. Treated at Savage Station, VA. On 18 Aug 62 he was taken to New York onboard the Mississippi to be admitted to the hospital. Treated at Blackwell Island Hospital, New York City.
