YEATTS, Joseph B. - Wagoner, Co. K. Born in 1843, the son of William Yeatts & Rebecca Cline. Rebecca married Joseph Toner shortly after Joseph Yeatts' birth. Enlisted 28 Sept 61, at Gettysburg, PA at age 18, a Blacksmith from Mount Holly Springs, Cumberland Co., PA. Mustered in 5 Nov 61. Received a gun shot wound to the right thigh 31 May 62 at Fair Oaks, VA. Taken from White House, VA to the hospital at Newport News, VA onboard the Knickerbocker. Taken later to Stewart's Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Re-enlisted 1 Jan 64 at Plymouth, NC. Captured 20 April 64 at Plymouth, NC. Held captive at Andersonville, GA & Florence, SC. Paroled 27 Feb 65 at N. E. Ferry, Wilmington, NC. Died on board the Steamer General Lyon off Cape Hatteras on or about 31 March 1865 when the ship burned to the waterline. Bernard Yeatts
YOUNG, Abraham "Abram" - 1st Lieutenant, Co. B. Born 1823. Enlisted at age 43, a Jeweler from Mansfield, Tioga Co., PA. Mustered in 12 Nov 61. Wounded in the wrist 31 May 62 at Fair Oaks, VA. According to William W. Thompson of Co. E, Lieut. Young went home without leave and was dishonorably discharged in Sept 62. Regimental history states that he was discharged 2 Nov 62. Died 2 June 1876 and is buried in Alba Cemetery, Canton Twp, Bradford Co., PA.

In Aug `62 he was taken to New York from Harrison's Landing, VA onboard the Cahawba to be admitted to the hospital. Died 29 Dec 1862 at New York. Buried in Cypress Hill Cemetery, Long Island, NY.

Mustered out 25 June 65. Died 24 Jan 1883 and is buried in Alba Cemetery, Canton Twp, Bradford Co., PA.
