Inf. wrote that during the move to Florence, CSA issued  bacon but no water, Henry had a tin tea kettle and managed to fill it with water at a stop, gave Black a mouthful, wished to save it if some food arrived, at Florence issued rice and red peppers which Henry cooked and shared.
